Motor Vehicle Accidents
We provide insurance billing for motor vehicle accident claims (MVA). If you have been injured in an automobile accident, you are eligible to receive medical massage therapy for injuries related to the accident for up to one year after the date of incident at no cost to you. All that is required of you, after discussing your treatment options with your primary care physician or chiropractor, is to bring in a prescription for massage. You will also need to provide the insurance information (name of responsible insurance company and their address, adjustor's name and contact information) and the claim number. The insurance billing will be handled by us.
If you would like us to bill your health insurance company for medical massage, acupuncture, naturopathy or counseling, please contact us at least 3 days before scheduling your first appointment and provide your insurance information so we can verify your benefits. If massage is a covered benefit, we will find out the details of your plan such as copay or coinsurance amount and if there is a deductible that needs to be met before treatment is covered. If you prefer, you may also verify benefits on your own with the understanding that you will be responsible for the full cost of a medical massage if we are denied payment. This could occur if your benefits do not include massage or if your deductible has not yet been met.
